Sweet P's

This location is permanently closed but they still have the Rome Ga location. We found Sweet P's 4 years ago and have driven down from Ringgold many times just to eat there. We are never disappointed with the food or the service. Both are always great! They recognize us and greet us by name, and we always feel like we're eating with friends!

Friday night catfish! Some of the best catfish I have ever had! Great fried okra too first time going there and I will be back for sure!

I try not to leave negative reviews ever but I just have to note the level of filth. Not only were the tables and chairs incredibly dirty, no one on the “buffet” line was wearing gloves and the poor little girl working it (not even 10 years old?) didn’t have the dexterity to scoop the food. So, not knowing any better she pushed my food around on my plate with her bare hands, YUCK! My friend waited an hour for her salad??? The chicken was rubbery with no flavor and the macaroni and cheese was dry. The entire restaurants’s sanitation standards need to improve but at this point I’ve steered everyone I know away from eating here.

The setting has potential after a deep clean of EVERYTHING. I mean everything. Sans the child, yes child, that waited on us, didn't seem as though anyone working there wanted to be there. Food on the buffet was mediocre at best, no idea what the rest of our party thought of their food...after a 30 minute wait to place orders and an hour+ wait for salads/sandwiches, we had to leave. Zero idea how they have 4.3 stars! I hope they take the most recent reviews to heart and make necessary improvements.
