I’m very rarely downtown at lunch time, but every time I am, I look forward to eating at this place. A friend introduced me to this restaurant years ago and I’m so glad they are still around. It’s counter service and they only take cash (and FYI, they don’t accept the juror discount vouchers other restaurants in this food court do). Service is brisk and professional. My food was ready in just a few minutes. I always get the kyu-don, and it is DELICIOUS every time. It’s a pretty generous portion of beef, egg, and rice. I like it with the oil added on top to give it a mild spice. I’ve been tempted to try some of the other things on the menu — they all sound good — but the kyu-don is so good I just can’t not have it. I’ll be looking forward to coming back the next time I’m downtown!
Quality food & service :) ❤️
My favorite place to grab lunch while in the city. Amazing, delicious food that always leaves me satisfied and craving more! Customer service is great, the cashier is so friendly and welcoming. She was so kind while answering my questions about how to pronounce food names. I will always recommend this restaurant for tasty authentic Japanese food! ** The restaurant is inside the Oxford building and down the escalators. **
Didn’t get to eat here. Unfortunately they are cash only. I don’t see this mentioned in any reviews.
$3.20 for a ginger salad with iceberg lettuce and 2 thinnley sliced cucumbers. Nice people though.
My 4th time eating lunch here. Always a pleasant experience. Fantastic rolls & super-friendly service. Will continue to make this my lunch spot when I have business in this part of the city. (Pictured: Spider Roll & Crazy Roll) Highly recommended!
Good spot for quick lunch with the Reasonable prices.
Was looking for sushi in Pittsburgh and came across this spot. Sushi was just mediocre, I’ve had better before. Ambience of the restaurant was still nice and staff was very attentive.
Nice and fresh. Good for midday break from work. Easy in and out. Located in the Oxford Market (lower food court) of the One Oxford Centre building. No gluten free soy sauce. However, taste is still good. (Salmon avocado and cucumber rolls.)
Searched about 15 min to find it and was unsuccessful. Under Oxford building is a parking garage , first floor is also parking garage ; and there is no sign at least visible. Would be great if owner can update access info or address here. I would love to try their sushi and give a good review once I find the place ☺️
