Surfside Donuts and Coffee

Came here with a group of friends for a quick breakfast. It was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They have a small amount of seating inside.

Great staff. Very friendly and efficient. Make donuts and coffee just that more fun. Super good mocha too!

Extremely Delicious!!!! The last time I have tasted any bakery goods this Phenomenal. Was 30+ years ago at my grandmothers bakery in the Midwest... This humble tiny donut shop in Pismo Beach, CA. Just might bake the best donuts every day that you will find anywhere in the entire state!!!! I stopped by Wednesday and I will be returning already on Friday to try some more wonderfully scrumptious treats!!! In my opinion. It would be a tremendous error if you visit Pismo Beach and don't pay Surfside Donuts and Coffee a visit... Enjoy~ P.S. I will take pictures to post soon....

Saw some reviews about unfriendly staff and quality falling off, but our experience could not have been more different. Greeted with a smile super early in the morning, and everything we ordered was good. Highly recommend the Apple fritter!

Donuts are okay. Coffee will burn your face off. Went in too late and they were out of the kind of donuts I prefer. Tried a simple glazed, and it was tasty. The lady behind the counter seemed friendly enough -- until I received my coffee. The coffee I ordered probably would have been good if I were superman. Unfortunately it was so hot that even through the sleeve she added my fingers kept getting burnt. I had to leave it sitting out for 20 minutes to get it to a reasonable drinking temperature. Strongly do not recommend the coffee or this shop as a result.

The fritters bites change flavors each day and are our gotos.

This review is based off the last three or four experiences: I remember this place being halfway decent around the time at first opened, all the hype was legit and was hard to find a complaint. Fortunately, it seems that time has not been friendly to this business as the donuts you find inside are mediocre at best and they lean a little too hard on the trendy aspect for their "unique" items. Most of, if not all of the staff seems to be irritated with customer presence; or would simply rather be anywhere but their job. Cannot say I recommend this place any longer unless they have a staff change or something, at least then I'd have the pleasure of having a few smiling interactions when I pick up my mediocre donut.

Always greeted with a smile and the staff is patient with my silly questions about the flavors. I love going in after work to pick up a couple of treats for my wife and I. My favorite Donuts in all of five cities. Don't bother going anyplace else. This is the best right here.
