We've been making Thai Iced Tea Eclairs, Croissants, Doughnuts & Soft Serve for years! (And it's always a best seller) For this gelato we wanted to add some more depth to it and introduce something new that we haven't used at the bakehouse before: Kaya Toast!
Kaya jam is a creamy, tropical spread made from coconut milk, sugar, eggs, and pandan leaves. Paired with buttery toast (aka Kaya Toast), it becomes a beloved Singaporean and Malaysian breakfast treat.
In lieu of bread, we made some honey butter waffle cones to add that crunchy burnt toast!
