Closest thing to an authentic SoCal California burrito I've found in the Portland metro. The asada was seasoned nicely, fries were solid, and the habanero salsa rounded out the burrito perfectly and was reminiscent of the salsas you'll find in San Diego. Will come back to try more food here

So I've been here a lot of times and as a personal rule I always try to have a place's food more than once before I review just to ensure consistency (otherwise I'd rather not review for a negative experience and instead bring it to them personally) however this review and my update are long overdue. I'll start off by saying, their food is excellent, everything I've ever purchased has been excellent. I've had their Al Pastor street tacos, Chorizo Y Papas burrito, their Carne Asada quesadilla and an Al Pastor burrito between my many visits and all of these items were excellent, zero complaints at all. So the Al Pastor burrito, marinated pork, beans, onion and cilantro. Exceptional firstly because the ingredients were spread perfectly throughout the burrito which gives you the ideal taste experience in each bite unlike going to other places who often throw it together but don't put that thought into each bite's experience for the end user. The combination of the beans and al pastor pork were exceptional together, then adding in the onion and cilantro for some taste and bite brings it all together. The tortilla was perfect, it wasn't too wheaty or too gummy, it was perfectly prepared. They offered me both red and green salsa on the side, I asked for neither, I love the unadulterated taste of the spices, the pork thats lived in it and the perfectly cooked beans which weren't mushy, weren't too firm, they were perfect. Its a 10 out of 10 for me, I will have this again on my next visit, although, i might make it a brekkie burrito and add some egg to it, that might turn it up to 11. The Carne Asada Quesadilla was another perfectly constructed food item. Ultimately its exactly what their menu tells you it is, simply, 'cheese on a folded tortilla, with meat'. The quesadilla was perfect, the right amount of meat and cheese which is really important from a culinary perspective, especially when it comes to the oils/fats that cheese can pool off when its cooked ruining the tortilla, making it feel soggier. The quesadilla maintained its crispiness and was a great and satisfying meal, almost too much food for one person, fyi, that steak can fill you up quickly. I ate it completely because I'm always in a battle with my inner fatman. I did eat it with a side of red salsa just to add a little tang to the taste, again, perfect. Another item I'd recommend. The third item I purchased was the Al Pastor Tacos. Yes, their marinated pork can only be described as, exquisite. The depth of flavor in the meat is exceptional, there are not enough places that have this flavor profile to their adobada or al pastor pork, so this is top end as far as the attention they give the marinade and meat in the marinade. Mind you, nothing I ate was too spicy for any pallete, even the most mild. Its a very traditional street taco build, 2 palm sized corn tortillas stacked on top of each other, pork on top, onion and then cilantro. I can't speak for everyone but they're perfect, not too greasy, not too spicy, just the right amount of all the flavors. I think my order had 4 in it and those were also almost too much food but I persevered. The Chorizo Y Papas burrito is literally the best breakfast burrito I've ever had and I've had it about 12 times now, I'm addicted. I do enjoy it with fresh diced tomato added, not sure why but it seems to be a solid addition and gives it a little cool bite and texture. This burrito is exceptional, they take the time to mix the ingredients so you don't get too much of any one thing in any bite, the chorizo is perfectly cooked and you never get any chewy pieces or any of that, its just spot on. The spices are balanced which is very important when you're consuming a pre marinated and spiced meat, the potato's are cooked perfectly so there's a little crisp in there also, nothing worse than a potato that just dissipates. The spice level and textures are spot on and I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a breakfast meal that will fill you up until the next day... no joke. Ultimately, I have zero complaints.

We love this place! Been coming here for years! Great, kind, & quick service. Fantastic tacos! Carne Asada & Carnitas are our favs! Served with guac on top! Complimentary Jalapeños, carrots, lime & radishes! Great prices as well! We stop here often! Vegetarian options: Haven't tried their selections yet but it's on my list!
