Sunnyside Grill

I visited your restaurant on February 25th and wanted to share my experience. The atmosphere was lively, but unfortunately, it was extremely busy. On a positive note, the tall server with black hair warmly greeted us and was incredibly friendly. However, our actual server, the girl with lighter hair who didn't introduce herself, wasn't as inviting. I observed her texting behind the bar while the welcoming server was actively running food and bussing tables. It felt like a noticeable difference in their levels of engagement. I ordered the eggs benedict with bacon, which was delicious. However, I was quite disappointed with the overall service because the food took longer than expected. It seemed like our server was preoccupied, which affected the overall dining experience. Despite this, I appreciate the positive aspects and the tasty food. I plan to give your restaurant another try in the future, hoping for a better overall experience.

Sat 24 the Feb 2024 @1:45 pm. Entered restaurant seated ourselves, no greeting , no communication by staff, they dropped menus on the table and left. Server came over 10 mins after asked ready to order?, no introduction, no name nothing, took both drink and food orders. We ordered traditional and basic breakfast we asked for over medium eggs, we got over hard eggs. There were five other tables that were occupied but it looked and felt as though the staff was just waiting for everyone to leave as they were sitting by the bar, chatting. Our server's bf came in sat at the bar and when server got up to go to the kitchen to get our meal we had a lip lock, so professional! Then the kitchen staff decided to play loud music and sing it could have been romantic except you couldn't understand the words. Our server came only once to check on us during our meal, every time after we would raise our hand to get someone's attention. Yes they were all at the bar with there backs to us! This is only the 2 nd time I've eaten there and it's probably the last. The 1 st time the food service has been horrible and we said it was new so give it awhile...well so many years later and everything is terrible. Won't be returning and will never recommend it to anyone! The cost isn't worth it.

Great tasting omelette, fast efficient friendly service, great prices. We will be back often!!

Lovely neighborhood spot. So good with kids!

We used to go weekly but were disappointed a couple times so haven't been for 8-9 months as we switched to different breakfast spot. Tried it again today and will not go back. The service was not great and food was average- I think it is lack of training as it was mostly highschool kids when we were there and only 1 server who might have been too busy. The belgian waffle came without strawberry toppings or whip cream as per menu and server told me the waffle does not come with anything. I then asked for strawberries which they added on the bill but we never received. Staff was ok but probably needs more training.

$25 for bacon and eggs, a coffe and a small chocolate milk?! This is rediculously expensive. They advertise $2 breakfast during the week… yet on the weekend for one breakfast, two drinks and after tip it’s $30 This is way to expensive.

Food was ok, ask the waiter to have the cook put a hat on lot's of red hair. The cook came half way to me and got nasty with me. Never go back!

Very nice service

Got there while they still have the morning early bird special. So you could see, there were plenty of foods at a very good price! Their bottomless coffee is also alright. The waitress was quick on her feet in refilling the coffee, even though the place was a bit busy, time to time.
