The food was great. The server was great. I’m pretty sure my rib cage was touching the table in the booth that we were sat at.
Salad bar is amazing for an all you can eat pizza place. Pizza was mediocre at its best. Not enough sauce and very minimal toppings. Thin crust overbaked. Crust was very tough. Like eating cardboard.
Food wasn't bad, just unremarkable. Toppings were generous and it was priced right. When we walked in, 4 employees were at the bar playing on their phones and avoiding eye contact. I think it may have been a shift change, but it was awkward standing there and waiting a solid 2 minutes for somebody to at least say hi. Once we were seated, it got better, but the initial impression nearly caused us to walk. Dining room was a bit disheveled and plain. Not that appearance makes the food taste better - it's just a little more fun to dine out if the location is fun itself. All in all - not bad for the money.
Good pizza for the buffet and good salad bar. I'm a pizza snob so the pizza isn't great but it's good for local standards. They do have a thin crust option, and the buffet has a dessert pizza and some good cheesy pasta. The atmosphere is pretty bare bones: open seating area on polish concrete floor, some arcade games in the back. I go for the lunch buffet to talk with friends and it serves that purpose perfectly. Not sure I'd want to take the family there. For the price we could get better food. However, I haven't had anything not found on the buffet so maybe dinner is different. I'll try that one of these days, and you should check out summit pizza if you are looking for a good lunch buffet. Parking: Kinda tight parking lot, although at lunch it isn't too bad. If it's busy I image it could be hard to find a close spot.
You could tell they were a bit short-handed. That being said, Jacob was incredibly kind and in constant communication on our order. We watched as he single handedly took care of several customers with grace, courtesy, and calm. My family will come back, simply because of him.
