Impulsively came and just ordered sides but their service was fast and the food was really good for the price, just wish the sticky rice wasn't 4$
Beware, if you say a "little bit spicy" they will destroy your food with nuclear levels of heat
My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to Albany in 2017. During COVID and a little after I noticed an increase in food prices and a decrease in quantity and quality but we love it so much that we had to try it again. Most recently the food was back to the large portions and delicious dishes that make this place a staple on Lark st. The dine in service is a little slow because it's usually only 1 person doing both take out and the dining room but the food comes out fast so if you're with good company or just trying to have a nice meal alone, you won't really notice until you need something. I like the new bubble tea additions to the menu. Everything we had last time including the dessert was phenomenal! Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.
I'm disappointed with the shrimp omelet; and I'm not too hard to please! The pad thai seems runny and too sweet. I never usually disappointed in thai restaurants, but this one seems an exception:(
Very cute restaurant, we ordered ahead with a large order for pickup, with a short turnaround due to them not opening until 1130 ( I also called a fee days prior to see if that was possible and got the green light). They had the vast majority together by the time we walked in but still had to wait for a bit for the rest, which was absolutely understandable. They checked multiple times to make sure they had everything, which was great. 18 items accounted for! The food was delicious. I tried some new things, and all was delicious. No complaints from our crew. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options with little adjustments.
I love Sukhothai! The food is always soo delicious and the staff is always very kind!
