The service was ok and all but I just can't justify paying $11 dollars for a desert that is essentially milk soup with melon slices. The "deserts" were not enjoyable.
I think this place has so much potential, a lot of missed opportunities. 1. We ordered the wings special, taste is 10/10 even without the seasoning, though the lemon pepper seasoning was on the side and you had to put it on the wings yourself, bizarre. 2. 1st dessert - Fresh mango sago dessert. I was basically watered down coconut milk with very small amounts of mango bits that were sour, I couldn't even taste any sweetness. 0/10 3. 2nd dessert - Mango roll, this one was okay, better than the sago dessert, whipped cream was meh, the texture of the roll was enjoyable, not overly sweet, again mango chunks/bits were sour. 3. Service was just not there at all, pretty slow, not very friendly staff. We asked for our dessert and wings to come out together but desserts came out first. 4. Place is dim and the bar counter had all their supplies for their to-go orders, it looked so cluttered. The place looks so run down and I think it hasn't even been around for at least 5yrs. Overall would not recommend.
The food here is terrible and the service is worse! We came here as an early Valentine’s Day celebration, we started with wings which were a terrible let down, how can you mess up wings they were so bland and dry. I ordered the noodles with chicken with tomato sauce which tasted extremely salty and freezer burnt. she ordered rice and chicken which was overly sweet and we got a side of kimchi which was terribly sugary sweet and a “coffee pudding dessert” which ironically wasn’t sweet enough, it really lacked any flavour and it was just a tiny cheap frozen dessert and it tasted terrible. They served our food on broken plates and the only staff member present refused to talk to any customers she just gave us a card to write down our orders and press a button to bring her over, where she went through our order with us to make sure it was written correctly as if that system is faster or more efficient in any way to just doing the last part in the first place?! The food took forever to come out and as you already know it was wildly disappointing. It cost an arm and a leg to eat here and neither of us were even remotely full despite how long we were there and how expensive our meals were. They didn’t even give us any napkins so after finishing my meal I went to find the washroom to clean up and I found that they have tons of freezers where I assume they keep all their cheap, overly sweet food. This place really has the vibe that it would satisfy the palate of a 5 year old sugar addict. Please save yourself some time and money and do not eat at this filthy disgrace of a restaurant! There are many better and cheaper alternatives close by.
Good place for a light meal and desserts. The desserts are not so sweet and I love that much. There are various options to choose. I strongly recommend this dessert shop and will come back. The service is good. Staffs are frendly, quick and attentive.
As much as I liked this place, the recent experience was upsetting. The least they can do before sending the order to the kitchen was reading it back to us to make sure and confirm the order because sometimes orders could be written by the customers can be wrong. Basically forced me to buy the wrong order because it was already cooked, said they’ll give me a box I could just take it home because “they had no other customers to give it to because no one ordered it”. Understood that it was cooked but it wasn’t what we had meant to order. It’s “nice” to know they reuse the food they give to another customer to have… I don’t want my food coming from a different table.. I don’t think that should be happening. Horrible. Another part of my order took too long as well, almost done the main meal before the “appetizer” came out. So disappointing.
Chicken a solid 10/10. But the service is really slow. We got there at 7 right at happy hour. One of the first ones. Not a lot of people too. Ordered around 7:15. Desserts came in first. But the food came after 8 for the first 12pc wings and about 30-40mins later for the last 12pc.
Lots of dessert options! The drinks were good and I really enjoyed my bubble waffle. I thought the bubble waffle looked really pretty as well. It’s an awesome place to stop by if you ate at a nearby restaurant and want some dessert. I’m
Ordered Japanese style beef on rice. My "Japanese style beef" consisted of 80% onion and 20% beef. To make things worse, what small amount of "beef" included was predominantly just fat. Beneath it all, a pool of oil coated the lower half of the container and the rice, leaving the overall experience quite disappointing.
The food is very tasty but for the price charged the dishes are small.
