Have eaten here before with coworkers when in the area for business and stopped in for sandwich. Food is good, but a person, who I assume is the owner, made a fellow patron extremely uncomfortable forcing him to leave. The other patron order a sandwich to go and must have changed his mind about leaving because he sat at a table. The older man saw him sit down and forced one of his workers to bring a tray to him to eat on. She brought it out, the customer looked confused and said thank you, but did not use it. The man then came out from behind the counter mumbled an apology for his worker and then proceeded to pick up this dude's sandwich by the paper and place it on the tray. The guy had no idea what was going on because he had earbuds in. The older man then made comments about how rude it was and unprofessional for his female worker to have not provided the tray and she should have asked if he was dining in or take out. He then walked back behind the counter and chastised the female worker again. The other customer slid his sandwich into the bag, walked the tray to the garbage/tray collection area, and promptly left. The older man calls out as he is leaving to apologize once more for his worker not placing the sandwich on a tray and blamed her for him leaving. Wow...
Had chicken korma and it was fantastic I didn’t even know they had it. I thought it was just a subs shop. Best in Irving!
This place is fire full stop. You gotta try it!
I usually get the daily special. I always look forward to the new taste of a daily special I’ve never tried. I don’t know how many specials they have, but there is definitely no shortage of new sandwiches to try. The staff is genuinely friendly, and Jami is passionate about the quality of food at the restaurant.
