Never ordered from Just Eat before as I'm one to eat on the healthier side but thought its only round the corner for one subway, won't seem so harsh getting them out for that on a rainy day. Would hate to think the chap was travelling far just for one sandwich! Most people don't care but I do. At this subway however, a liar works here. Received a salad sandwich with zero cheese. Not really going to keep anyone going! I rang up to check if they had stock as thought that would be a reasonable explanation, however, he insisted he put 3 slices in there. I'm absolutely baffled by his audacity to lie when I had the sandwich in front of me. I took a photo as soon as it arrived purely in shock that there was nothing in there but salad and mayo. I know this isn't the worst thing in the world, there are bigger problems, but it's the lying that bothers me!! He even went on to claim that the cheese melts and goes transparent. It definitely does not and the sandwich was stone cold and not toasted?? Do not understand his logic in lying over this? Are you ok? Weirdo. I don't need to lie about stupid things like that, but clearly you do! Anyway enjoy your job at Subway!
We came in around 3:30pm in hopes to be served a half decent sandwich, with a promotional ticket that claimed to offer two six inch subs, two bags of crisps and two soft drinks for £8.99. Upon entering the store we were met with a very moody and uninterested muslim woman sat at the far back behind the counter scrolling through her phone. I said hello and she huffed as if we had inconvenienced her by making her actually earn the money rather than be paid to watch tiktoks. First issue is the lack of interest in doing her job and serving customers, second issue is the lack of english speaking and english understanding, third issue is lack of training and awareness. She completely misunderstood our orders, proceeded to tell us that several of our choices were not served at that location (if not, why were they on the menu) and that she didnt actually know how to make it and was the real reason. She cross contaminated and ended up adding a few pieces of sweetcorn to my sandwich which wouldnt usually be an issue except for the concept of allergies, if i was allergic and hadn't noticed then that would be a fatal mistake (again poor training). We head to pay for our food expecting to pay £8.99 (after sticking to the requirements of the two 6 inch subs, two drinks and two crisps) only for her to charge us full price. The ticket was valid and in date, she told us she did not know (yet again) how to apply the promotional voucher and refused to refund us the difference in price or attempt to offer any sort of complimentary item either. Normally i wouldnt complain or write a review because i see it as quite petty, but the principal of offering people a menu and a promotional ticket and then not even knowing how to make the items or how to apply the discount after making a fuss about having to actually serve customers really rubs me the wrong way and frankly is an abhorrent display of poor training and poor customer service. All i wanted to do was cancel my order and leave. Do better. This is pathetic. Ps. Somehow the "toasted" sandwich was still cold. Im not sure how you mess that up.

I just want to say a Huge shout out to George. We arrived from Ipswich to Poole on the 23rd of December.At around 2pm, we went into Subway unit 2 just opposite the train station and there was a big queue and only one customer assistant working. You could tell the assistant was really stressed out as he was working on his own, had to complete online as well as in store orders. Customers were very empathetic as he was working solo. We all asked George why he was on his own, he mentioned that the manager had left an hour before and had said that it wasn't going to be busy. First of all that's very unprofessional, why is someone leaving an hr early before their shift ends? No one should be operating a store on their own esp at peak times. George you did a great job and you should be proud of yourself!! Merry Christmas
Usally great staff but this afternoon whilst waiting to be served the girl who was working was using the same hands to make the food also to use to wipe her nose, brow and mouth with and without gloves.... I left and won't be ordering if she is on shift again.
Staff not clean, and no experience in the job. I had been there before and everything was fine, this time there were two men who were not very on the griddle, literally touching their noses and not knowing how to make sandwiches but talking to the customers, my two sandwiches were missing some ingredients like onion sauce and lettuce..... I told them and they ignored me. Very bad service and very bad impression on the customer. I will not go back.
We were served by Gus, beautifully clean establishment, knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination. Polite and helpful. Deserves some recognition as Gus was brilliant. Thanks. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free!!
