Winemaker Ehren Jordan is a proven Pinot master, and works his magic here, using fruit from top Chehalem Mountain and Eola-Amity sites.

CVNE’s Imperial wines are made from a small plot of their best vines in Rioja Alta and only produced in the very best vintages. “This dark garnet wine has aromas of dark plum, milk chocolate and sage. Flavors of blackberry, black currant, dark chocolate, anisette, oregano and thyme are set into opulent tannins that drop off to reveal a bright finish.” WE 95pts

HG III is Tony Biagi’s riff on the Napa Valley red blend. Crafted with select lots from our Blueline Estate and carefully sourced vineyards in Napa Valley, HG III embodies the deft balance of richness and vibrancy that is at the heart of what we do at Hourglass. Merlot offers sleek, approachable texture and bright red fruit components, Petite Sirah provides the anchoring bass notes of dark blue and black fruit, and Cabernet weaves these together with structural framing.

The Cain NV17 is the ripest, roundest, fullest wine in our collection. The blend of 2016 & 2017 is a wine of wonderful ripeness, that epitomizes our ideals of Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the classic style of the Napa Valley. It displays the aromatic complexity, smooth entry, balanced mouthfeel and graceful finish, which are the signatures of the Cain style.

Château La Louvière has many fascinating facets. The Château building dates from the late 18th century, but winegrowing here goes back more than 700 years. The first vines were planted in 1310, and winemaking dates from the 17th century and was handed down by able monks from the Carthusian monastery. La Louvière’s red wine has a dark colour and an elegant bouquet with delicate hints of oak and ripe red fruit, licorice and smooth tannins.

Neyer's Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine has a bright ruby hue with aromas of wild cherries, chocolate and fresh tobacco leaf. The finished wine is remarkable for its flavor and complexity, and the wine looks to be one that will improve for many years. Planted in 1992 by David Abreu, this fruit is located on ground higher than 600 feet on rocky land rich with basalt. This vineyard is one of the rare 10% in Napa Valley capable of producing great Cabernet Sauvignon. — JS 91 pts
