Our eponymous pie stuffed with bacon, potatoes, boiled egg, brandy, thyme, cream, a little mustard & cayenne, topped with 6 filleted sardines with their cute little heads poking through the crust! Stargazy pie was created centuries ago in Mousehole, Cornwall in celebration of local fisherman Tom Bawcock saving the village during a legendary storm. It is named for the way the wee fishy heads poke through the crust, as though gazing upward.
