I am a regular at this Starbucks and have to say, the service from all of the staff is phenomenal. They're all so happy and welcoming that I'd now consider them friends more than staff. They make my hot and cold coffees perfectly and they've even helped support my disabled mother to the toilet when she couldn't get there on her own. Caitlin, Emily, Molly, Laila... (I can't possibly name you all!) But ALL of the girls are just lovely. Thank you ladies, for always being so inviting, friendly and happy. It's so nice to see a smiling face when ordering. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten and dairy free... It's no problem for Starbucks. They always ensure theirs no cross contamination when making my drinks. Parking: There's plenty of parking if you want to just pop in to get your drink.
Never open when it should be, drive thru constantly closed, slow service, don’t accept cash
The coffee was fine but this Starbucks is terrible. It is filthy. The few times I have been in recently the bathroom floor is covered in water (at least I hope it is water). The close at 9.45pm though it says 11pm. There is no indication that this is just the shop or the drive through or both. But they are so rude in how they kick people out. There is no signage and online says something different. There was only one staff who was doing a good job but the other staff were completely missing. Usually if they even there they are on their phones or sitting at the tables with their boyfriends. The music was so loud impossible to work and people are almost yelling to speak to one another. The manager of this Starbucks and the corporation should be ashamed at this one. This so dirty. The tables aren’t getting and the especially the bathroom. The staff clearly don’t want to work. Will not be coming back to this one ever.

I visit the Newport Road store 5 days a week for my daily coffee and sometimes food too. I've always received nothing but the best service from all staff members there, particularly Georgia and Ffion, who go above and beyond. They are professional, very efficient, friendly and always engage in conversation. All staff at this store know my order off by heart, and do a fantastic job multitasking managing the drive thru customers, as well as promptly serving in store as well. The current team here are a credit to the Starbucks brand, and thoroughly deserve this recognition.
Very uninspiring interior in desperate need of a refurb - same as when I visited some years ago! Food range and quality quite good. Drinks range good but poor quality foam on cappuccinos. Furniture shabby.
I visited the store last weekend and it was really busy inside I was served by a friendly member of staff and then I joined the queue of people waiting for their drinks. We were all told one of the coffee machines was broken and the girl Dal I think I read on her name badge was rushing through the drinks queue and apologising to each customer as she handed out the drinks. Waiting in a queue can be frustrating but it was clear to see she was trying to manage a stressful situation and some customer were being rude. More staff like her should be employed she is an asset to the business!
