St Stephen's Tavern

After a brisk spring morning walk in St. James Park, we stopped for lunch at this cozy tavern opposite Big Ben. The fish and chips were exceptionally satisfying post-workout, though the chicken tenders were a tad salty. We sat upstairs where the intimate dining space hosts about 6-7 tables, offering a quiet retreat from the bustling bar downstairs. A delightful find!

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare al St Stephen's Tavern di recente e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatta dell'esperienza complessiva. Situato a pochi passi dal maestoso Big Ben, il locale offre un'atmosfera tipicamente britannica che cattura l'essenza storica di Londra. Il cibo è stato indubbiamente il punto forte della serata. Il fish and chips era croccante e delizioso, con il pesce fresco che si scioglieva in bocca. La meat pie era un'esplosione di sapore, avvolta in una crosta dorata e friabile. I prezzi erano ragionevoli considerando la posizione privilegiata di fronte al Big Ben.

Great pub with very kind staff and delicious fish and chips. Place arranged with great atmosphere.
