John McCormick, owner of Williamsburg institution Cafe Moto and designer of many local favorite hangouts including Five Leaves, Maison Premiere and Spritzenhaus, created St. Mazie and the restaurant beneath, St. Charles Cellar, as an inviting and elegant drinking and dining spot, adding live music ranging from Flamenco to Gypsy Jazz to 50's vinyl DJ's.
