Good food Monday-Thursday at lunchtime and very reasonably priced.
I have never gone inside this venerable stone church, but I walked past it in the darkling waves of twilight and saw its shadowed spire soaring skyward like an image from a gothic novel. My path only crossed with this town because of an accident, but it has an organic cohesiveness that I greatly appreciate and that is absent from too many towns in the United States. Churches like this feel like the essence of the town, like a nexus of life energy. It exuded beauty and creaking intimacy when I looked out at it from across the veil of night and the greater veil of interceding centuries.
Nice wee cafe, with tables beside some beautiful stain glass windows. Good food at a reasonable price.
Main church accessed by lift. The central screen displaying the words of the hymns can not be seen by a wheelchair user or if unable to stand if the person in the row in front of you stands up to sing.
Great for scones and excellent pancakes.very good service .
Had a light lunch in the cafe. Very friendly staff behind the counter. The Chef was very accommodating in regards to my wife's diet. The freshly baked macaroon are to die for! Did not have the opportunity to look over the rest of the facilities.
