Spumoni Restaurant

Overall great experience and food. Our table had the Chicken Limone Entree, Linguine Al Pesto and Spaghetti Carbonara. We enjoyed our plates with endless amounts of parmesan cheese, sprinkled across the top by the helpful servers who attend to you gracefully, making sure your beverage is always full. Our complentary dessert caught us by suprise, as I had to ask to make sure it wasn't a mistake and of course it wasn't. The guy I ignored walking in, concerend about our parking spot, ended up being the owner and gave us tiramisu because he acknowledged the fact that his parking spots were full and we had to walk from across the block! If you're in the area, give it a try! The nice cripy bread and delicious olive spread were a great start, while deciding your meals! Thank you, Spumoni for the amazimg experience! :)

It's absolutely amazing. It is very authentic, and the service is superb

This place is a hidden gem my family discovered a couple years ago. Whenever we visit LA area we make it to Spumonis at least once. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. I was so impressed that the owner remembered us, where we were from, and our orders from 2 yrs ago.

The food and service are awesome! They did offer a free tiramisu which my 2 year toddler and my mother loved. The owner was kind enough to greet us and customized the order for our needs. I will definitely recommend this place for a nice Italian cuisine experience.

Food was a definite 5/5, but the service in particular deserves a 6/5. Very nice people, and an exceptionally friendly atmosphere. I felt right at home here during my visit.

Great food and wonderful owner

SPUMONI RESTAURANT is intimate, delicious, and family run. We have been dining here for years. It's like a special dinner at Nonna's, with no dishes to do.* The owner and maitre d, Vasik, remembers regulars, down to details like: Who eats cooked carrots and who doesn't. Who's a vegan? Who needs gluten free? And what your guests ordered last time. Meals are prepared southern Italian style. Their dishes are full-bodied, large, and delicious. As a starter, olive tapenade and warm cubes of "country bread" are served. But, be careful, this delicious finger food can be quite filling. Gluten-free salads, entrees, and desserts are offered. If possible, the chef will adjust his recipes to your dietary requirements. For example: When dining with our family, we bring in gluten-free French bread which the chef slices then heats on foil in their oven. It is served with the house made, vegan/gluten free olive tapenade. For dinner, my wife and I usually order the Italian salad and have it split. (On her half, shredded Parmesan cheese is sprinkled at the table.) Her favorite is Chicken Parmesan. Mine is rigatoni pasta served in their rich, vegan, garlic, marinara sauce. Often, I bring a vegan meat analog in a sealed package. Sometimes it's meatballs, or chicken pieces, and sometimes it's Italian sausage. The kitchen, using a separate pan, lightly fries the meatballs, chicken, or sausage, with a selection of fresh vegetables. then smothers them in their elegant, delightfully garlic, marinara sauce. For dessert, a free serving of a scrumptious tiramisu. According to my wife, it's surprisingly light and wonderful. No vegan dessert is offered. See, just as at Nonna's: everyone is very special. STUFF: Limited outdoor seating on the boulevard is available. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Free parking behind the restaurant is easily accessible through their rear entrance. The restrooms are located near this entrance. Metered parking is usually available on Ventura Boulevard. * Nonna is Italian for Grandma. Vegetarian options: The chef will prepare vegan and or vegetarian alternatives upon request. Dietary restrictions: Our granddaughter is gluten free and we bring in gluten-free bread which is heated in the restaurant's oven on a sheet of foil. There are gluten-free items on the menu. Parking: Approximately 20 spots behind the restaurant with easy access through a door at the back of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: I see lots of children, with their parents, at this family eatery. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is wheelchair accessible.

The staff are so wonderful! So accommodating and so happy to make the experience a memorable experience! The food is delicious and fresh and an all around great experience! Highly recommend Spumoni!
