Went for an icecream & a catch up with friends at 8pm. Time hit 8:20 and we were told the place was closing & we had 10 minutes to eat up... DESPITE the signs all stating 9.30pm. We challanged this & advised they should really change all the signage to reflect these times. We were forced out as cleaning began, mopping around our feet & piling chairs up around us. Good Luck staying open if this is how you treat your customers!
My froyo cost a fckin fortune!! Only got strawberries and chocolate sauce fumin like
Really enjoyed frozen yogurt taste experience the first time I tried. Unfortunately a little disappointed on my next trip after a 50mins journey to find it was closed at 8.30 when online stated open to 9.30. Be great to have it amended.
Was there on 16th October at 8 pm told by a member of staff that we could carry it out as they were closing at 9! I said it was only 8 and we would only be 20 minutes she wasn't very happy and didn't smile once we got our ice cream and went to pay for it however her body language said it all we sat with our grandchildren and left at 8.20 cleaned our table but sadly we won't be back the service was awful very disappointed.
Absolute robbers, £16 for two ice-creams wil never be in this place again.
The place was very quiet when we visited. Only 6 options available so not much choice. The price was okay but I was satisfied with the toppings options. I think if you have such a wide variety of toppings, the flavours should also be appropriate. I have visited another site before and it did have a little bit of a wider variety. I think if they can plan to have an extra 6 different flavours available for weekends etc that should be more beneficial to the customers.
It’s a lovely place with a modern layout and cool designs and a great idea to make your own dessert and one of my favourite places to go but the staff were quite rude the last few times I’ve been I hope they improve the staff because it’s such a lovely place
Our family of 5 where a regular customer for a good year at Spoon Street caffe since we moved to the area. We loved this place, especially our 3 children. Now there is a lot of change at the cafe, new staff, decor, everything changed wich was exciting to see and explore. But sadly today we experienced terrible service, which saddened my 4 year old and me. I took my 4 year old to the Spoon Street for an Ice cream where she choose all kind of Ice cream, decorate with different topings and at the till I realised that I didnt have my bank card with me. The girl at the till was not happy. I suggested to let us have the ice cream so it wouldn't go to waste and then we would walk to our car to get the card and pay. The girl snapped saying you dont get Ice cream if you dont pay now. So the Ice cream went to waste. Oh well, we went to our car got the card and went to the Mauds Cafe instead. My family will never go to spoon street again!
The selection here was fabulous and they even had lacto free for my niece which is something you don't see often. The staff were bright and friendly and a credit to the place! Would 100% go back! The toppings selection is also amazing with hot sauces and melted delights definitely go for a visit
