    • Michter's 10yr Single Barrel Bourbon

KY, USA - This is a very well-integrated whiskey with a lovely balance between creamy and spicy. There's a full, rich, toffee sweetness throughout, balancing the earthy, humus-like bass notes in the mid palate. The finish is also very reminiscent of soda pop (root beer float? Cherry Coke?), almost giving the impression of carbonation, with a lingering muted spiciness. It's extremely thick and coating. Water cuts that mouth feel, to its detriment.

    • Michter's US1 Sour Mash Whiskey

Warm toasted burnt sugar notes with spice, sweet, smoky. During the 1970s and 1980s, Michter's Original Sour Mash Whiskey was the distillery's single most popular product. While the Sour Mash moniker originated from the whiskey production process of the same name -- whereby some previously fermented mash is used as the starter for the new mash to be fermented, much like making sourdough bread -- Michter's Original Sour Mash earned distinction for its unique taste. With its unique grain selection, it cannot be categorized as a rye or a bourbon. After disappearing from the market in 1989, Michter's Original Sour Mash Whiskey made a triumphant return in 2012 with its introduction into the US1 line. Staying true to the profile and palate of its predecessor, Michter's US1 Sour Mash has quickly become a favorite of whiskey enthusiasts.

    • Old Forester 1870 Bourbon

1870 Original Batch echoes George Garvin Brown's original batching process. Back then, Brown batched barrels obtained from three distilleries to create a consistent flavor profile. To emulate that process today, we also select barrels from three warehouses, each barrel originating from a different day of production, with a different entry proof and a different age profile. The three expressions of Old Forester are then batched together and minimally filtered to craft Old Forester 1870 Original Batch.

    • Old Forester 1897 Bourbon

Old Forester 1897 Bottled in Bond is crafted to honor a watershed moment in bourbon history -- the U.S. Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. This expression follows the Bottled in Bond standards that whisky must be aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years, the product of one distillation season, one distiller and from one distillery and bottled at 100 Proof. The concept behind these regulations -- the idea of 'sealed in quality' -- was something Old Forester introduced in 1870, as America's First Bottled Bourbon.

    • Old Forester 1910 Bourbon

1910 Old Fine Whisky represents a specific point in Old Forester's nearly 150-year-old history. In October 1910, a fire caused the bottling line to be shut down for an indefinite period of time. Complicating matters, there was a vat of mature whisky waiting to be bottled. Otherwise facing ruin, this whisky was instead stored in new, charred oak containers to rest until the line could be repaired. This double barreling was the first such documented of its kind and led to it gaining the name Old Fine Whisky. In order to produce 1910, standard Old Forester has undergone a second barreling in a lightly toasted, heavily charred barrel. Mature Old Forester enters a second barrel at 100 proof, just as it did in 1910, said Old Forester Master Taster Jackie Zykan. The second barrel is charred nearly to the point of incineration.

    • Old Forester 1920 Bourbon

During Prohibition, all whiskies had to be bottled at 100 Proof. With a barrel entry proof of 100, the angel's share would have created a 115 proof whiskey after maturation. To pay homage to this era, Old Forester presents 1920 Prohibition Style Bourbon at 115 proof to represent the rich flavor profile this bourbon had nearly 100 years ago.

    • Wild Turkey

Kentucky - In 1869, the Ripy Brothers started distilling on Wild Turkey Hill near Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The namesake product became their number one seller and the name of the distillery was changed to reflect that success. The Ripy Family sold the distillery in 1952, and then the normal rounds of mergers and acquisition occurred. Campari Group out of Italy owns them now and they produce a wide range of Bourbons under the very popular Wild Turkey name along with several other brands. Wild Turkey is one of the most well-known Bourbon Brands in the world, and Wild Turkey 101 is America's #1 selling premium Bourbon. • Willet Pot Still Reserve Bourbon

Kentucky - The Willett Distilling Company or Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, as it is also known, is a small, family-owned company that markets Bourbon and Rye Whiskey. They're located in Bardstown, Kentucky. As a relatively large independent bottling company, they're called the big daddy of Bourbon and Rye Bottling. The company wasn't actually operating as a distillery from 1980 to 2012, when they re-established the distilling process using both column and pot stills. So far they've been using Whiskey distilled elsewhere to make their products, and it will be a few more years before they can use their own distillates because of the necessary ageing process. Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon was introduced in 2008 and is a hand-selected, limited Kentucky straight Bourbon, aged 8-10 years and bottled at 47% ABV. It comes in one of the coolest decanters on the market.

A historic recipe, acquired in 1940 by Owsley Brown I, Old Forester Rye features a mash bill of 65% Rye, 20% Malted Barley, and 15% Corn. Such a high proportion of barley allows for a fully natural fermentation process, forgoing the need for artificial enzymes commonly found in high rye mash bills. Additionally, a generous percentage of malt yields a unique floral character, balancing the sharp, brisk spice of the rye grain. Continuing our legacy of quality and consistency, Old Forester uses its own proprietary yeast strain, produces every barrel, and distills every drop.

    • WhistlePig Small Batch Rye Aged 10 Years

Vermont - The spirit of revolution. Ingenuity, innovation and a fearless pursuit of flavor led us to the discovery of an aged Rye Whiskey stock in the Great White North.
