Sofia's Fine Italian Cuisine Restaurant

Went there last night for Dinner I ordered the Stuffed fillet of Sole. The stuffing was mostly bread, the fish was not cooked, they handed me the Wrong Dish Which consisted of a potato instead of mashed I already had taken a bite of it and the waiter said that’s her plate. I said I can’t give it to her. I already took a bite of the potato. I asked if he could simply just get her another one he was Not pleasant at all. I never got my string beans that was supposed to be on my plate either. So I was just served fish with a potato. The waiters didn’t have a smile on their face the whole evening. Someone in our party also ordered the same fish, And they felt the same way the fish was not cooked. Very disappointed. The desserts were excellent and the music was nice.

Driving back to Newark in the pouring rain. Decided to find a place along the way. Had a really good dinner. Huge menu. The Italian cheesecake is a winner. My business associate inhaled the lasagna.

Looking for a place for a quick bite, we came across a vew reviews of Sofia's and decided to give it a try. It's a BYOB so that is a big plus. Wife had a house salad while I selected a caesar salad, both very good. For dinner we ordered chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and string beans and chicken parm with spaghetti. Once again, both very good. We skipped coffee and dessert. While it was pricy, the BYOB made up for the high cost. Parking: We parked on the street but heard there was a lot in the back

Atmosphere and people were nice. I asked waiter if either their gnocchi bolognese or roasted bone in chicken with risotto from their specials menu could be made gluten free. He came back out and told me the gnocchi bolognese was ok. I have celiac and 1 hour after getting home spent the next two hours vomiting. I would have chose something else. I dont think theyre allergen conscious. Dietary restrictions: Limited

Delicious food, quick lunch service!

Yum I love the pasta off the specials menu the salad was amazing lots of choices the rice ball was delicious. Also had a cappuccino so good. Great place to have a party. I’ll have to stop in for lunch one day soon. Vegetarian options: The salads are really good the broccoli rabe, broccoli and other vegetables the pastas are very good dishes, lots of fish dishes Parking: Parking lot is in the back Wheelchair accessibility: Come in through the front door handicap parking on the side and larger parking lot in the back
