Serving slow-smoked BBQ for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a long tap list of local beer, cider, and mead. Smokin J's BBQ was founded in 2016 by a man with a smoker and a popup tent. After dragging that thing all over San Diego County for three years we opened our first restaurant in Poway. Now we are thrilled to bring our slow-smoked barbecue and house-made sides to the Gaslamp Quarter. Serving up brisket, pulled pork, fried chicken, and all the sides you want (beans, mac, collard greens, cornbread). Wash it down with a selection from our 18 tap system boasting only local drafts. Smokin J's BBQ & Taphouse is open for brunch Friday through Sunday with the best breakfast burritos in town and some mouth-watering bbq hash options.
