Smitty's Southern Style BBQ was founded in 2011 in Richmond, KY by Frederick and Bonnie Smith. In the year of 2015, Frederick passed on leaving Smitty's to his wife Bonnie. Smitty's continues to run as a family-owned business as they continue the tradition of his southern style cooking that originates from Alabama.
