Family came back in town and wanted to do one last hurrah as a farewell to the Plano Luby's location before they permanently close. When we got there, the line was out the door, so we opted for something else nearby. "Chuan" style was requested, and we ended up going to Sichuanese Cuisine. I recalled them being okay at one point, but has this place gone downhill. They added so much salt to each dish that I felt like an onset of a stroke with each bite. Service was nonexistent outside of them refilling the rice, which costs $2 each bucket. Who charges for PLAIN RICE at an Asian restaurant? It's like they intentionally made each dish salty, so they nickel-and-dime you on the rice. Definitely need to write this one off completely... we should've waited in line at Luby's. Would have paid half as much and not be disappointed.
Delicious food with big portions at pretty much an unbeatable price. One of my favorite Chinese spots in Texas.
I ordered a pick up for a set time on a week night. The food was packed, ready, and the special instructions I left had been followed. I paid at the counter and left with a lot of food. I enjoyed the Chengdu dumplings the most. The combination fried rice was a generous portion and had more shrimp than I expected. The string beans and shredded chicken with spicy garlic sauce came with white rice, so it was also a lot of food. The Dan Dan noodles came in a small container, so they had to be put on a plate to eat easily, but they were still nice tasting. I'm glad we tried their food and am looking forward to eating here again. Dietary restrictions: They followed special instructions when asked to leave out garnish.
Extremely rude staff. I have ordered take out and the person I spoke to was impatient and disconnected even before I finish the call. Very rude behavior during billing too. The food is average.
Omg a Client brought this in. It was Fabulous and just Right. I love the Orange Chicken. Now I know the name of this place. Love it
I love the tofu options here + their fried rice is amazing
Don't sleep on this place! The food & service is excellent! Ambiance is meh! It's BYOB which if great and the liquor store is right next door!! My husband had the cumin beef which was the best ever!! The Sichuan shrimp was perfect!!
Yup, numbingly spicy as the true Sichuan cuisine are supposed to. They make their own smoked bacon to stir fry with garlic sprouts. Their rice is done with Thai jasmine and Kokuho mix. All make this chef that much more authentic and true to the origin of the .
