Food? Amazing. Service? Amazing. POS system? God like.
A coworker and I stopped by on our lunch break because I grew up next to this place, and remember their dan dan noodles being so good. After ordering on our phones (everything here looks like it has stayed under Covid regulations), our food came out separately- all mine first and I waited for my coworkers as not to be rude. The server came to the table with a plate of food, and called out a different dish name than what she had ordered (tsao chicken). We asked to confirm, "is this the Tsao Chicken?" The server walked away with the food to (I assume) make sure it was correct, and came back with a younger guy who confirmed it was indeed what she ordered. The woman THREW down the plate with a slam in front of my coworker, and walked away cursing us under her breath. You don't have to be fluent in a language to understand someone is cursing at you. It was so uncomfortable, we just immediately asked the young man for to go boxes and the check. Never even ate our food. It was a very hostile, and uncomfortable situation - we very clearly were not wanted there. I paid the tab, and still left an 18% tip for them. If I go again, I'll just get it Togo. I know when I'm not welcome somewhere. Disappointing, because the Dan Dan used to be good.
I had noodle soup this time. Last time, I also had wonton. The app was hassle free and food came in a timely manner. I didn't like the ginger in the soup, but it was still good. Service was adequate
You have to order food via its internet website which can be kinda complicated. They offers Sichuan style food. However, not as spicy as the authentic food in Sichuan, China. The food is good. And lunch special offers good food in reasonable price.
Great Chinese food with excellent portions, HMart is next door so Asian grocery shopping, followed by a nice meal. Win-win!
