TOM YUM SOUP!! If this is your jam, then THIS IS YOUR SPOT FOR THIS SOUP! I don't know what kinda magic they're doing in that kitchen but it has to be hands down one of the best Tom Yums I've ever had. The perfect balance of lemongrass and savory and tons of veggies in the veggie option. The meat options are good too but I somehow have always loved the veggie soup, keeps it light and refreshing and filling at same time.(not to be confused here with the tofu option, which is another selection). No rice on the side but well who needs those extra empty carbs... (that would be me bc I loooooove rice). BUYER BEWARE- These folks are serious about their Thai spice levels so if you're too sensitive to even a little heat, this may not be for you. I can only handle some spicey food, so I order my soup "no spice" and it's still a little zippy. Has chilli flakes in it, but it also makes the dish so I tolerate it. Anyway, not a fan of their noodle dishes, too greasy and bland for me, and I was upset that the Pad Thai didn't have peanuts. So I just stick to soup and WIN every time!! That's where you can feel the love ❤️
Food and service is amazing. Definitely the best spot for good Thai food. However atmosphere is mediocre as the place is extremely tiny and most of the seating is resorted to the sidewalk outside. That being said, the quality of the food outweighs anything else.
Delicious! Best Thai in Irvine!
Best Thai food in OC!! Great quality and authentic!
This Thai place had a cozy ambiance, with its small sİze and outdoor seating. tried their khao soi noodle dish, and must say it was quite delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, with a good balance of spices and textures. It was definitely a highlight of my dining experience there. However, I felt that the restaurant's hospitality could have been better. The service was lacking in attentiveness, and the staff seemed somewhat disengaged. It would have been nice to receive a warmer welcome and more attentive service throughout my visit. If you're looking to have a hankering for tasty Thai cuisine, this place might be worth a visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a lackluster service experience.
Food was too overpriced for what it is. Portion size was small, flavor wasn't all that Service sucked the hostess that night was really rude, and it seemed like every time i asked for something, it seemed to disturb her, definitely not tip worthy In my honest opinion your better off going somewhere else for thai food
SERVICE WITH A LOVELY SMILE ! After a trip to the movies on Tuesday afternoon we headed straight here for dinner. My wife and I arrived at the front entrance around 5.45pm....a smiling server / hostess named Polly welcomed us in a very friendly manner. WHOO HOO ! And we scored a table inside with the air con cranked up...still in the 80's outside. GREAT FOOD ! We've had lunch here a couple of times in recent weeks.....fabulous food and prompt friendly service ! We felt like ordering what we enjoyed so much on our very first lunch visit.....a bunch of their delicious appetizers. AND WE DID ! After sweet Polly brought us a couple of tall iced waters we ordered 1 x CHICKEN SATAY ( grilled marinated on skewer chicken served with peanut sauce and cucumber chutney ), 1 x POTSTICKER ( deep fried vegetables & chicken dumpling served with sweet chili sauce ), 1 x EGG ROLLS ( deep fried vegetable rolls served with sweet chili sauce ), 1 x SHRIMP ROLLS ( marinated deep fried shrimp rolls served with sweet chili sauce ) and 1 x THAI ICED TEA for my wife. I wanted to enjoy a beer with dinner...after consulting with Polly I followed her advice and ordered a SINGHA Thai Beer 5% abv. It wasn't real busy and it wasn't real quiet. I suspected we arrived before peak hour.....there wasn't a vacant table inside when we left at 6.30pm. My ice cold bottle of Singha beer and a cute little chilled glass came out fast courtesy of smiling Polly. It tasted fine...better than I expected. My wife's Thai Iced Tea arrived around the same time....it looked very refreshing. My wife loved it. WHOOPEE ! Out came 3 of our appetizers....Potsticker, Egg Rolls and Shrimp Rolls. Within barely 2 minutes our Chicken Satay Appetizer hit the table. WHATTA FEED ! Very hard to pick a favorite...the Chicken Satay is a hard one to beat but we cleaned up big time. EMPTY PLATES HAPPY TUMMIES !
TOP OF THE CHARTS ! A friend of ours who runs a top coffee roaster cafe highly recommended this Thai eatery to us recently....he warned us it gets very busy. And we love Thai food. BRING IT ON ! On Friday we headed over here to grab some lunch. We got really lucky and nabbed a spot in the very tight parking lot. WHOO HOO ! As we walked up to the entrance around 12.15pm we could see this place was smokin' ! It was packed inside the small interior, on the outdoor patio and there were more than a few people waiting outside for online orders. A charming cashier / server named Im handed me a menu on a clip board when I approached the cashier desk. Another helpful server named Joe asked if we had put our name on the wait list inside the door. NO ! But I did so immediately otherwise lunch could take a while. Within 30 seconds Joe beckoned us to sit at a vacant table on the outdoor patio. First up some iced waters while we check out the lunch menu which looked great. We thought being our first visit we would keep it simple with a few appetizers. When our server Joe returned with our tall iced waters we ordered 4 Appetizers...1 x CHICKEN SATAY ( grilled marinated on skewer chicken served with peanut sauce and cucumber chutney ), 1 x POTSTICKER ( deep fried vegetables & chicken dumpling served with sweet chili sauce ), 1 x EGG ROLLS ( deep fried vegetable rolls served with sweet chili sauce ), 1 x SHRIMP ROLLS ( marinated deep fried shrimp rolls served with sweet chili sauce ) and 1 x THAI ICED TEA for my wife. BUSY BUSY BUSY ! We just couldn't get over how busy this little eatery was....the food must be sensational ! Within 60 seconds my wife's Thai Iced Tea arrived...it tasted very good. WHOO HOO ! Within 6 minutes of actually arriving at the front door we had our complete lunch order in front of us....thank you kind server Kay. AMAZING ! And darn did everything look very appetizing. TEN OUTA TEN just for presentation, TEN OUTA TEN for succulent flavor & perfect texture and TEN OUTA TEN for our complete satisfaction. SOMEHOW ! The appetizer serves were much bigger than we anticipated but we worked hard to clean the plates. AND WE DID ! This would have to be one of our most enjoyable and fastest lunches ever. And looking around at the tables nearby we could see their main dishes looked spectacular. Charming cashier / server Im came out to fix the bill. WOW ! We can't wait to return for more incredible food and service. THIS IS A NUMBER ONE HIT !
SENSATIONAL FOOD AND SERVICE ! A business friend gave us a hot tip a few weeks ago that this Thai eatery was really great. HE WAS RIGHT ! We came, we ate and we were very impressed ! AND NOW WE'RE BACK ! My wife and I headed over here on Saturday to have lunch. It was surprisingly quiet when we walked inside around 12.20pm.....it was packed the last time we were here. Im the super lovely cashier / server gave us the biggest smile ever when she saw us. We sat at a table inside this time with a view of the whole place. Im looked after us immediately with menus and tall iced waters. On our first visit we tried a few appetizers and they were truly sensational. This time we wanted entree size meals.....my wife ordered CASHEW CHICKEN ( stir fried marinated chicken, soy sauce, house sauce with cashew nut, dried chili, carrot )..low spicy and I wanted the KAPOW ( classic style stir fried with holy basil combination of chili, garlic, green beans, carrots and bell pepper ) + $3 Filet Mignon and medium spicy. VERY IMPRESSIVE ! On our first visit we were amazed how quickly we were seated and served our lunch...all within 6 minutes despite the place being very busy. THEY DID IT AGAIN ! Before we knew it out came both our lunch dishes...darn they look huge and delicious ! Oh and we asked Im our server for a Thai Iced Tea which came out within 2 minutes. My wife was over the moon enjoying her incredible Cashew Chicken.....very tender white chicken and crisp scrumptious vegetables. HOLY COW ! I ordered my Kapow with filet mignon for $3 extra and believe me it was very juicy top quality filet mignon and lots of it. We shared the well made Thai Iced Tea...it was a perfect accompaniment to our meals. Im our ever so sweet server checked on us every now and then making sure we had everything we needed. BOXES ! We just couldn't get through everything and boxed the rest for dinner that night. And it still tasted fabulous. ONE OF OUR BEST DINING EXPERIENCES EVER !
