Shorty's True American Roadhouse

Always a great place to stop when in the area. Shorty's is great food. I visit a lot of BBQ places and Shorty's food is top tier level. Service has been good and the atmosphere is nice too. I only wish they were selling t-shirts and sauce so I could take the memories home!

Fast and friendly service. We had the brisket with pork n beans and onion straws my daughter had hers with the green beans and Mac n cheese. We also shared brownie sundaes everything was delicious.

Whether or not you like bbq, you need to try this place out. They have so much to choose from and they everything I’ve had is so good. My husband and I come here at least once a month to get our favorite Dixie Chicken Sandwich. It’s a grilled chicken sandwich with bbq sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a side of chipotle mayo. We always get the fries for our side because they’re soooo good compared to any other place we’ve been. 2 Dixie’s + 1 pop = $31 and some change. We always recommend this place to our family and friends and a lot of them have come back whenever they’re in town.

Came here for my husbands birthday. The atmosphere is just right. His steak was so juicy! I got the pasta something different I haven’t had before. It was so much on the menu I didn’t know what to get oh and thanks staff for coming out singing happy birthday

I will say before I start my review that an astrik mark needs to be placed by it. I overheard the manager talking with the cook about procedures of employee meals and other instructions. This led me to believe he was new. The atmosphere is very spot on rib shack southern charm. Right down to the table that wobbles because it's not level. My waitress was very nice. The barbecue sauce delicious, the brisket was dry with no smoke flavor, and my date ordered a smash burger. It had no crust and was raw inside. Yes, a new cook, had to be. Anyone who makes smash burgers knows he didn't press the burger to get a crust. I am not from Ohio. I was advised against this place. I ignored it because I wanted BBQ. This is all I will write on this.
