Went in early to pick up so donuts for the family to enjoy once they wake up. The donuts are good. Service and atmosphere were ok.
I have been to this Shipley’s a couple of times and there’s a short lady with glasses named Olivia in which I know she is fluent in Spanish. So I proceeded speaking Spanish to her and to my surprise she doesn’t speak a lick of it? OMG hilarious!! However, she has attended me and at the same time she has a terrible demeanor towards me as a customer. I thought maybe she was in a bad mood that day? Nope, she must wake up like that every day. Of course, I had complained to corporate and they gave me 6 free donuts as an apology. Went back and another lady was helping me in the which she butted in the conversation saying it has to be “glazed”. Nahh lady card says “mind your own business!!” I got my sprinkled donuts. By reading the reviews of the bad service it definitely had to be her.
I love how the glaze Do-Nuts are always fresh and warm!!!
I walked in with my family and we had three Shipley apps, each had an offer for two free glazed donuts. The woman working there said that we had to buy $10 worth of stuff to redeem one of those offers. Even though the offer never mentioned having to buy anything. The lady insisted and we bought three donuts and left. This was honestly very disappointing because you get this offer because you downloaded the app. I will never come back again
Frustrated. Took my kids to grab some donuts… she closes the inside after dark which I guess I can understand but I get to the drive thru and she doesn’t speak any English at all and I don’t speak Spanish well. I tried my best to speak the little bit of Spanish that I knew but still got no where so I wasn’t able to get my donuts because we couldn’t communicate. On top of that she was annoyed with me like I did something wrong. Left with crying kids and no donuts…. Disappointed
