Shale Canyon Wines

Established in 2007. First crush for Shale Canyon Wines was 2008 with our first bottle of wine sold in fall of 2009. Tasting room opened in December of 2012. Shale Canyon Winery is 100% "Off-Grid" completely solar facility. Our 6.5 acre vineyard produces Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Mourvedre, Tempranillo and Petite Sirah. We specialize in small lots of hand crafted varietals of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Mourvedre, Tempranillo, Syrah, Bordeaux Blends and Zinfandel. Current production approximately 1500 cases per year.
