Great dine experience. We go there regularly. I would suggest to add more spice if choosing “mild”.
The food and service started out great. A group of eight came in. Once they did, our service got slow, and our food was given to us cool in temperature, not hot. Being that this was an all you can eat timed meal, with restrictions the restaurant sets this wasn't right.
Fun place for some pretty food seafood. Nothing fancy by any means. Just decent food that you eat without utensils. It was empty when we were there and we ended up chatting with the manager for a while.
We got the deep sea boil for two. The portions were fine and the seafood was good quality. The sauce was very bland. The house sauce (Cajun) is just butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes. You can choose from different levels of spiciness but this appears to just be a measure of how many red pepper flakes you will get. The atmosphere was spoiled by the Taylor Swift playlist that was playing over the speakers. It made the experience feel very juvenile. The service was good.
I had been to this restaurant a couple of times before, but this was the first time I visited it again after pandemic. The service were good, the snow crab legs were still good, the crawfishes and mussels were oaky. But, the shrimps, the worst I ever had. They were not fresh at all, like being freeze and thaw many times. I would rather go to other similar restaurants at Boston or Brookline.
Excellent restaurant, unique experience. Be prepared to each with your gloved hands with your bib on. Tremendous crab options. Shrimp and mussels also good, but less spectacular, but overall, great restaurant, great sides, great service.
