SF Gelateria

It's awesome to see a gelato shop right in Redwood City and super excited to come and try some flavors next time.. really keen on the honey lavender, pistachio, lychee, butterfly pea, black sesame, tiramisu..

Vanilla shake was yummy!

Good gelato, great range of options from refreshing to creamy-rich. Go for the unique ones like rosewater saffron and pair with a fruity one like fruit cocktail :)

Great gelato and good service. Recommend the cookies and cream flavor which is basically Oreos it’s really good

I would trade my three wishes with a genie just for a scoop of their pistachio gelato. My wife and I have laid destructive despair upon a pint of it at home with no self-control or restriction. Like a nature documentary scene narrated by David Attenborough where hyenas destroy their prey, but its my wife and I huddled around a pint of SF Gelateria Pistachio like twin Gollums from lord of the rings. The disappointment felt from settling for the competition they have, which if we're being honest is safeway late at night, is truly at the depths of despair and brings nothing but sadness and longing for our true love... SF Gelateria.

SF Gelateria catered my baby shower on a hot hot day (95 degrees!) and the gelato was a huge hit. Shiao-Ying, the owner, was so easy to coordinate with and thankfully so flexible when I asked to push the start time back to beat the heat. It was a hectic day and I really appreciated how the gelato cart and girl (sorry I didn't catch her name!) showed up on time, set up, and immediately started scooping. She was so patient and so friendly despite being kept super busy, in the heat, for two hours. Hojicha flavor was the star but really, you can't go wrong with any of their flavors. Highly recommend booking their gelato cart for any event, everyone from kids to adults to elderly loved it!

Gelato was fine but the manager was super rude and crunchy. Only giving it 2 stars for the nice young girl working with the brown curly hair, she was being so sweet and funny despite the manager making so many rude petty comments over everything.

Don't overlook this cute little gelato shop in downtown Redwood City! Delicious gelato, really friendly service, you get to sample the gelato before you decide, and the people that work there are very nice. Give this place a shot!
