Scott and Michele Kendall purchased Butterfield Brewing Company in February 2000. Butterfield's started in the Spring of 1989 with award winning Brewmaster Kevin Cox in the heart of the historical Tower District, Fresno, California. They changed the name to Sequoia Brewing Company in October of 2003 to wholesale their beer. The Micro Brewing Company and Restaurant with outdoor dining is known as a neighborhood icon in Fresno. In June of 2020, Jeremy and Allison Smith bought Sequoia Brewing Company and are proud to continue on the legacy of craft beer, and great food in the central valley.
