I went in after a long day of work and boy was I surprised by the quality of service! They had great servers, very attentive and excellent energy. Then the food in combination was also freaking amazing. I'm a SEA person and it definitely was authentic. The skewers had that herbal flavor and texture to them, in addition to the Lao sausage. I'm not a huge papaya salad Laos style fan but my friend said she loved it! I personally enjoy smaller Lao sausage because it allows the skin to be crispier but this one was packed fuller and with a good traditional herb flavor. I'm not a fan of the meatballs as i felt they were missing an extra umph, like a sauce (not the typical sweet chili sauce) but without a sauce it needed something savory from the meatball seasoning. It had a good texture but lacked the savory. I personally enjoyed the loaded fries the best, the shrimp that was deep fried with the fries were perfectly cooked. The shrimp still had a good and firm texture with the outside being super crispy. All and all, definitely a place I'd come back to. Bonus points: They played all kinds of S.E.A. music, bonus points for hearing Hmong music here randomly.
Good food..stopped by for lunch and kabobs were great.
Always a pleasure and ease ordering online!
Stopped by after a long day of work and got the Chicken Kao Piek and it was hot and delicious. Would definitely go again.
Kapoon and the Sea Fries were excellent! The fried rice salad and the chicken noodle soup were fine. The noodles were a little too soft.
Really plain and simple Thai food. The place is plain as plain can be. Food was not bad, more like street food in Thailand.
First time there love chicken halal soup
If you are looking for REAL and delicious Lao food, this is it. I've gone to multiple places from Turlock to Stockton and it's very hard to find a place that can make good papaya salads! I was very satisfied with what I ordered. Everyone has their own taste but this place is worth it in my opinion. There use to be an authentic Lao food location in Ceres called "Sticky Rice" but was closed down and ever since, I was not able to find good Lao food.
