This is a great place to enjoy Dinner by the river , the food it’s on. Service good the only bad side here it’s there it’s not enough parking near by since they share with hotel so be ready to either pay for valet parking or to walk.

I have to say in all my years as a consumer and as a restaurant service worker, Ive never experienced what happen to me this evening attempting to have dinner. With a restaurant full of empty tables, the host informed us it would be over an hour wait. So I checked the restaurant again to confirm, but their were empty tables everywhere. So then I asked the host, " Is the wait due to your restaurant being understaffed?" She politely said yes. I then inquired if one of the servers who were on shift could possibly pick up an extra table outside of their section. She politely said, "No. We can't do that here." As a former server with a restaurant full of empty tables, and guests waiting to be seated, I know I would of taken the 3 parties waiting to be sat. I would of simply told the host to please not drop them all at once and seat them 5 minutes apart. As a server, knowing that not only my party of 3, but another party of 3 left and awaited our valet. I put this all on the G.M.. Having a restaurant understaffed at 6:40 on a weekend shouldn't happen. If the restaurant is slow, then you phase out workers, keeping on your strong staff that can handle an influx of customers and still maintain that level of service if it picks back up. And as a former server and bartender, if I was aware that you were allowing $$$$ to walk out the doors along with their TIPS with a restaurant full of empty tables, Id be pissed off and probably work elsewhere. If this is a policy issue, it should change. Just very disappointed this evening. We were very much so looking forward to Scotts this evening to celebrate my sons 14th, unfortunately that didn't happen, so we went with an alternative of Rudy's Hideaway. IT WAS AMAZING. SERVICE was amazing. I will be leaving Rudy's a review praising their food and service tonight. I'm just a fast to leave a positive review as a negative. Im no Karen (or Ken since I'm a dude lol).

Love this place! Super busy when we were here, and didn't have a table available in the main restaurant for 2 hours. But, they have a full service menu at the bar as well. We had the filet mignon and scallops, and the seared scallops plate. Both were excellent. Wines are a little over priced, which is to be expected. Good selection of whiskeys. Parking is either valet or self park. Bummed that the view of the river is blocked by a giant tent. Definitely one of the nicer places to eat in the Pocket/Greenhaven area!

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE DRESSED CASUAL YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED. We sat down at the bar mid afternoon, hardly anyone in there and did not get acknowledged at all. There was a guy working the bar and did not say anything, “we will be with you in a minute” would have been nice. We left after 7 minutes of being ignored. Will NOT be coming back

Service was slow and the food was mediocre and small. Basically just good for the nice riverfront seating.

I have been a loyal customer of Scott's Seafood Bar and Grill since nineteen ninety-two, and here we are in twenty twenty-four—this is my first time experiencing treatment like this. When my husband, daughter, and I arrived, the hostess was not friendly at all. We seated ourselves during happy hour, but later saw the same hostess seat two guests of a different race in a much more welcoming manner. This was extremely disappointing. However, Kyle, our server, was absolutely fantastic. If it hadn't been for his excellent service, we likely would have left. He truly saved our experience. We also spoke with the manager, who was kind and attentive, listened to our concerns, and offered us a round of drinks. I let her know that it wasn’t about free drinks—it was about being treated fairly. I also suggested they consider diversity training to avoid future situations like this. Despite the poor start, the rest of the evening was much better thanks to Kyle and the manager. The food was excellent: fried calamari the oysters were juicy and plump, the garlic fries were phenomenal (reminded us of the Gilroy Garlic Festival), and the salmon sliders and chicken wings were delicious. They even gave my husband a bottle of champagne and a slice of birthday cake, allowing him to choose his dessert, which was a thoughtful gesture. I hope Scott's Seafood takes our experience to heart because we want to continue enjoying this place as we have for decades. Thank you again to Kyle and the manager for their wonderful service."
