I took Delta / Delta co-flight few times a year. Hence, I visited terminal 4 at JFK often. I have been using Delta lounge and Centurion for my meal before flight. It is my first time using Sapphire Lounge. The design of this lounge is relatively new. The tone is very warm. Furniture are more contemporary.
All the lounge food to me is the same. They are ok to eat but never tasty or oven fresh. The French toasts I had were code and crispy 😅 bc they weee dry . There were menu for order to made with gluten free options .
All the staff in the lounge from the front desk to bus boys/waiters and floor manger were all very pleasant.
This lounge is truly a good choice to wait for departing of your journey .
Really decent cheeseburger and fries. Also great potatoes. Solid drink selection. Sapphire cocktail was ok. Lounge is pretty solid overall definitely left me full for dinner. The noodles were good too. Interesting bathroom amenities like floss and q-tips. Liked the premade tea they had. The tajin chicken was so so. The little potatoes were really good that. Came in at 10 oclock and was treated well by staff. No major complaints. I like the fireplace and art.
They put you on the wait list 3 hours before the take off time meaning you should be able to spend 2 hours in the lounge before the boarding but you are on a waitlist (in my case 40 min) so you basically can stay in the lounge for 1h and a half
Signature lounge of all Priority sites. Good food and atmosphere.
Beer taps were down and they have no bottled beer. Bartenders don't know how to make basic drinks and the specialty cocktails are terrible.
WiFi didn't work so couldn't order food from the app (and can't order without being on the WiFi). Took about 20 minutes for the page to load like an old 56k dial-up connection.
About 30 minutes later I asked about the food and was told it was coming out soon. 10 more minutes asked again, coming soon. 5 more minutes and it wasn't there so I went and made a meal of all of the little side dishes on the buffet, ate it in 5 minutes and was packing up my stuff to go to my gate and they brought the food out 50 min late.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge was very nice and exceeded all of my expectations. All the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my visit, especially Samantha. Give this lounge a visit and you will not be disappointed with great fresh/made to order food and drinks.
Very deceptive to call this a Chase lounge when Etihad guests take priority. It is an Etihad lounge that accepts Chase customers when it has room. Good luck getting in when Etihad flights are departing.
Employee by the entrance turned as away asap and didn’t even mention that we enter our names in the waitlist. By the time we came back - the line was even longer.
Beautiful lounge. Delicious cocktail. Elevated snacks.
