Salt City Barbecue

My BBQ career really began when my love of cooking met my interest in making the best barbecue I could & I decided I wanted to give competition barbecue a try. We progressed quickly and gained some notoriety & after just a couple of backyard (amateur) competitions, we moved to the professional division. We racked up 2 Grand Champions (1st place), 4 Reserve Grand Champions (2nd place), and multiple top 10 calls in less than 2 seasons. To win a BBQ competition, you must use the best quality meat you can find. We still use that same discipline. We use only USDA Prime brisket and the best ribs we can source.
