USA TODAY "Bar of the Year" 2024 for Texas, Sahara Lounge offers a relaxed vibe and great cocktails! Our guests often comment that Sahara is "the way Austin used to be", with its relaxed vibe and eclectic decor. We present live music shows as well as DJ dance parties. The vibe is relaxed and informal, making it a great place to meet interesting people. Our wooden dance floor, indoor seating and outdoor patio provide plenty of options for you. Free parking adjoins the building. Saturdays we host "Africa Night" and feature live bands plus a free buffet dinner (which includes vegan options).
