I liked Seva and Swagat, but decided to try Sahara. I had chicken curry, the mint chutney, and lamb curry all medium spice….it was fabulous. Medium spice had nice warm heat, but not too much. this is my new favorite Indian restaurant. It’s worth my 45 minute drive to the city to obtain it. The facility was clean and bright with casual dining atmosphere. Today I just picked up “to go” since I was working in North Kansas City. I arrived 10 minutes after my scheduled time drove the food home to my family in Blue Springs and the curry was so perfectly hot and ready to eat. I don’t know how they did it. I’m very impressed.
Excellent food full of flavor!!! Tika Masala is where it’s at.
Great food that fit the need for Indian food. Chicken marsala and shrimp sag where great. Order Mild+ if your pallette doesn't tolerate the heat well. No alcohol served, but still worth a trip for great food and service. Kid-friendliness: Please don't bring kids here.
food is delicious. among the best Indian food i had. service was great
Hands down the best Indian food in Kansas City! I’ve tried a bunch of other places and nothing beats Sahara, their dishes are so full of flavor. Plus the staff is always very warm and welcoming. Once I went to pick up food during lunch hour and I could tell they were slammed, I had to wait a little while which is not big deal to me. But one of the ladies offered me chai while I waited and even though they already rank high for me, that was just very kind. Highly recommend
Awesome food very friendly
Always a fine meal, we go down the curry list every visit. This visit was Korma, very creamy and hot. It was great. The naan was great as well. And I always have the chai to remind me of tea time when visiting Bangalore for work.
