Amazing! Service was friendly and attentive. Food was amazing, best Italian had in a LONG time, the prices were fair for the quality and the portions. Cocktails and wine were great. People will say it is loud… it isn’t that bad people over exaggerate. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it. We got the fried eggplant (generous portions, not over greasy and fresh and crispy with just the right amount of batter), the Rosetta salad (great signature salad, refreshing with a good amount of zing), the fusilli with pistachio pesto (one of the best pasta deals I’ve had) and the fruiti del mare (all the seafood cooked correctly and great flavor), cannoli (great tasting and the shell was nice and crisp) and the panna cotta (rich, decadent and the star of the dessert menu) finished off the night with espresso with amazing almond cookies. All this along with two cocktails and a bottle of wine, made for an incredible culinary experience!

We don’t recommend Italian restaurants often because they become redundant, but Safina is a must visit. Fantastic meal from the salad to the dessert. We will be visiting many times. Please frequent Safina. It is a gem.

My husband and I wanted to have a delish anniversary dinner before catching a comedy show downtown, and highly recommend Safina! Order the Fusilloni Al Pistachio and be the envy of the table! Absolutely delicious! The wait staff were lovely and attentive, and surprised us with a cheesecake and candle to celebrate our special day. Don't hesitate to visit this this restaurant . . . you'll be so happy you did!

Safina finds it’s way into the top 3 best Italian restaurants in MKE for me alongside tenutas and zarlettis. Mozzarella balls are INSANE, mostly because of marina. Vodka sauce was lacking salt (hopefully just the day) but pro tip is to not get with shrimp - get that on side. Alfredo Sauce is BOMB. Moms chicken would be good to but was down on salt the other day as well. Chicken parm very good but not out of this world (tenutas is better). On my scale it’s a 2.2/3… in other words - “a must try THIS MONTH”
