Rustic House Oyster Bar and Grill/San Carlos

Great food, super casual. My fish n chips were perfectly cooked and the portion sizes didn't make me feel like Moby Dick after.

Got my information stolen by this place. I submitted my email I think for a discount or something a long time ago and now I get spam emails to that address, which is a unique email alias I used only for this place. Food is also mediocore.

My favorite place to eat when in the bay area!!! Seafood linguini is AMAZING!!!

I gave this place another shot. We sat by the bar. The service was slow, and the food mediocre but still paid $80 for happy hour.

We had lunch there today and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were great. Our server Christine was exceptional!! Our entrees were the Seared Sea Scallops, Creamy Garlic Pasta with Scallops and Panchetta, Fish and Chips, and the Crab and lobster linguine. For appetizers we had Steamed Mussels, Calamari and clam chowder.. everything was delicious! We will definitely return.

Unbeatable service, fantastic vibes on the patio, and the best baked clams on the peninsula! I’ve yet to find baked clams as delicious as these. I’m giving four stars only because the margarita was just “okay,” and the prices are a bit on the higher side. But I’ll definitely be back!

My now favorite 😍 restaurant in the bay area! Food is ALWAYS delicious and service is superb 👌. Cameryn is the best and beautiful to boot!! Oysters, Lobster Roll and Seafood Pasta 😋 is a MUST try!!!

Appetizers were decent, oysters were really good! Crab cakes were ok... fish and chips were really good but the gumbo was terrible!! Service was great, Not worth the price and will never go back.

The food was amazing. I was still thinking about it days after my visit. Unfortunately, my companion saw a rat in the establishment near the kitchen. That made me nervous about the food I'd just eaten.

This place was not bad. My coworkers fish and chips did not agree with her but my grilled cheese and popcorn shrimp was good. Huge menu but mostly alcohol. Also they don't have lobster ravioli anymore.
