Great hotel if you can get a good room

The outside looked amazing and beautiful the Lobby amazing everything seems amazing we went to our room Its looked faboulous but when we went to sleep we had found 3 bugs so we went to staff they loacted us to a other room that also has bugs so they located us to another one and guess what more

Amazing hotel loved it so much. Even though they were having renovations the hotel still looked beautiful. There was a mixup with our room but that made it a better experience as we were accidently booked into a suite but as first time visitors we entered the room and my jaw dropped we will definitely be coming back here in the future. Rooms: Our room was amazing and the bathroom was jaw dropping lying amazing we loved it. Nearby activities: Seafront is a walk away with plenty of amusements. Safety: Really safe, we were welcomed with smiling faces from the team behind the reception not only that but also the bar staff the waitresses and even the chefs were friendly Walkability: The town centre is a 2 minute walk from the front of the hotel. Food & drinks: We only had 1 drink on the first night of out trip but they were nice especially after a long day and the breakfasts were worth the extra charge to include them to our booking really nice and never had to wait for cook times.

Good value hotel for money

Such a beautiful building from the outside however it was different story inside. Carpets on the stairs all pulled up leaving underlay down all ripped and lifted. I actually tripped on it and banged my arm on banister. Plug sockets pulled out andvopen with bare wires. My room was dirty bathroom sink had a hole in it and I don't mean plug hole and tap was broke. Bath had a brown mark round it. I reported these things to the manager who said we'll there's signage for the sockets. When I said it was an Easter egg hunt yesterday there was loads of children running around near the wiring. He just walked off. Needless to say I would strongly advice against staying here. 100% spoilt our stay in Scarborough Safety: Very hazardous Noteworthy details: Unfriendly and dirty

Excellent hotel

We loved our stay here, beautiful hotel in an incredible location right in the beach from the room was comfortable and well heated however the lock on the door proved difficult at times as the lock was quite far down, the bathroom was spacious and the staff even provided my sister with a birthday card as she had just turned 20. They room provided an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, kettle and plentiful tea and coffee, our room also had a large bay window Walkability: It is no more than 6 minutes from weatherspoons, five minutes into town and the stairs down to the beach are directly Infront of the hotel

Out dated, there was no carpet on the stairs or the handing The rooms are very outdated the whole place could do with a refurb
