Love this place & the food is good..I’m from Philly & a vegan.so when I’m in Delaware this is one of my favorite vegan spots to go too.!!

The best vegan food in Delaware! My husband and I tried the U.N.I.T.Y earlier in the week and had to go back and get more before we got snowed in later in the same week! Food is great and KH was great! She made that food so good and we had great convo! She will be seeing us there a lot!

Visiting Rooted AF at 1313 N Market St, Wilmington, DE 19801 was a truly inspiring experience. The owner, Nikita, is one of my favorite aspects of this unique vegan eatery. Her charisma, creativity, style, and dedication are incredibly motivating. It's evident in every aspect of the restaurant, from the inventive menu items to the vibrant atmosphere. Rooted AF offers a fusion of cultural and herbal favorites, such as traditional Spanish-style empanadas, New York style chopped cheeseburgers, and refreshing beverages like hibiscus-rose tea. The commitment to flavor without compromising health is apparent in every dish. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors robust, and the presentation appealing. Beyond the delicious food, Rooted AF stands out for its ethos. The restaurant is dedicated to eco-friendly practices, minimal waste, and promoting vegan education in the community. The ambiance is welcoming, perfect for both long-time vegans and those exploring plant-based eating. I highly recommend Rooted AF for anyone seeking a guilt-free, flavor-packed meal. Nikita's leadership makes it more than just a dining experience; it's a journey into a healthier, more conscious lifestyle.

For the price point of $16.50 for a meal, this food is overpriced. It is not even organic. Quality of food is not great for price point. The roll used in the pinky cole gave stomachache which was not easy to get rid off, hence the reason for this review. I wanted to try this out based on the reviews but this was a disappointment. I will give credit to the usage of sea moss in smoothies which is innovative and quiet unique.

Best vegan in Wilmington! I came across Rooted AF first at shoprite near the riverfront. The owner (I believe) had a stand there and was handing out fresh vegan empanadas hot out the deep fryer. Naturally, I ran over to try one and that truly was a mistake because ever since that day those empanadas have been on my mind. Throw out every idea you might have on what a vegan empanada tastes like…you’re wrong. This thing packs flavor and indulgence like you would not believe. So I bought a pack of the frozen ones from Shoprite (ate them both in one evening) and then finally made my way to The Chancery Market where Rooted AF has a vendor space. I ordered The Pinky Cole, named after the now famous vegan entree. BABY…hear me when I say - I took a bite just to sample it and figured I’d save the rest for movie night at home. Wrong. Thank goodness the cook chopped that sandwich in two because one half of it never made it out the car. Another mistake of mine because now I can’t stop thinking about that sandwich. The flavor and juiciness of a Philly cheesesteak was not at all compromised in the making of this jawn. I couldn’t even take a picture…who had time? It was devoured. I can absolutely see Rooted AF becoming the next big thing and I’m so so grateful we get to have it here in Wilmington. Go try this place out before it blows up! Five stars.

The new lady is very rude and ignorant. Gets mad over little things and very sarcastic. She should get retrained or maybe work somewhere else because you can’t treat customers with an attitude like that.

What vegetable replaces turkey bird.

We always have trouble finding vegan reasturants when traveling and then we found this place. One of the, if not the best vegan reasturant my family and I have eaten at in a long time. Cooks definitely know what they doing cooking that good food back in the kitchen. The service was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. Vegetarian options: All vegan menu. Parking: Free parking for 3 hours then 5 dollar for parking every hour. Can't find a better deal then that.

Their food is absolutely amazing! They are super sweet and awesome, they made it such a comfortable environment!

Oh my goodness, couldn't believe it's 100 percent VEGAN!!! EVERYTHING IS DELISH!!!! And the customer service was out of this world, they ladies made us feel like we was family. And they have a new dish coming in January just know you don't want to miss it...thank you for making us Floridians feel at home.
