Arrived to find the restaurant has closed down. The door says Corner Bakery coming soon.
Permanently Closed!
I never got to try, but I can see why it was shutted down.
Many restaurants are raising prices and adding "service fees" but food quality, portions, and service are decreasing
This location is closed. Market place sign up saying “corner bakery” coming soon
This restaurant is closed .don't waste your time by going there.
Visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and had a disappointing experience. Despite only a few tables being occupied, the service was incredibly slow. We waited over 15 minutes just to get the menu, as the waitstaff were more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers. The waiter was very inefficient, and when the food finally arrived, it was overly salty. Not a pleasant dining experience.
Haven't been here for years because the food was good, then just wasn't good anymore.. I was sad I liked the place. But what the heck did they do, the food is good again... I will be back. I had the salmon. Service was good..
Not nearly as good as the old Torrance location was, that's for sure! This was a HS Graduation family celebration. What can I say, the food was just ok, service was pretty good.
Came for my sister's 50 year anniversary, large party everything was great and fun for all.
They allowed her to decorate, since she's a professional designer and party planner.
If you're interested in hosting your special event I highly recommend them both !!❤❤
We went here the Saturday before Father's Day for our family dinner with a 7pm reservation - hadn't been here in about a year. We got seated right away and were presented menus that were disgusting. Stains all over them. Our waiter was decent, recommending the 2 for appetizer, which we did. Then, the famous bread arrived. It was terrible and NOT how we remembered it being. Dry, small, and obviously re-heated in a microwave or similar. My wife got the Shrimp Portofino and it was a solid 5/10. My daughter got a pasta dish, my son got literally buttered noodles (at full adult pricing) and I got the Penne Rustica. My dish was half oil/half cream - so it was clearly microwaved to some degree. I had to stir the dish around to help emulsify the creme sauce on the dish and the shrimp tasted fishy and frozen. It was a solid 2/10
Needless to say, none of us finished our meals AND we had no intentions on taking anything "to go" - the waiter even felt bad taking all of the excess uneaten food away. Add 3 soft drinks and one disappointing draft beer and you have a $136 bill. What a waste. Thank god my family was there to keep me company during this very disappointing Father's Day meal.
This place has closed down. The food is average at best and the service is pretty bad.
Always amazing food and service!!!
