Great food great service great price!!
I'm a longtime fan of Roccos, however, it's with great disappointment this review is not reflective of the great food and service I've been accustomed to at Roccos. I showed my server the pizza when it was seved and the vibe I got from the server/guy was like I was unnecesarily complaining or being a burden. I still paid for my pizza because I don't trust returning orders(past experiences from other restaurants) and tipped my server however, when I returned home to TRY a slice, I could not ignore the burnt pizza slices that I complained about. Maybe they were having a bad night but in my opinion this was obviously over cooked. Overall my good experiences have outweighed my bad ones at Roccos but this experience clearly made me reconsider my loyalty to this establishment.
Roccos is a sports bar but doesn't feel like one. The tvs are big and all over, but they had low music playing rather than audio from the game. Any game. We were able to request the games we wanted to see, and they put them on for us. The food there is really good, especially the pizza. We'd go back to try more of the menu.
I eat from Rocco’s often today I ordered a pizza and some crab soup. My pizza was undercooked and my crab Diablo soup taste like they put pizza sauce in it. I’m so disappointed. I really love this place I hope they get it together. But this soup is horrible, I know what their crab Diablo soup is supposed to taste like and this isn’t it.
We have both dined in and taken out. During dine in the food has always been great. We like the pizza, chopped salad and calamari the most. During our recent take out experience, huge disappointment. The pizza was cold, like not even attempted to keep warm during the time it was made to picked up and the calamari was a bit soggy and also cold. Not likely to get take out again. Parking: Street parking on busy street or busy neighborhood side streets Wheelchair accessibility: Tight indoor space. May be hard to navigate. Can’t speak for bathroom space.
Tracy was excellent, bar service and food was awesome. Get the Crab Diablo soup if you like spicy.
Pizza was a bit basic but it's a nice place
Nearly anytime I’m in Wilmington anywhere near Union Street I stop by and get the crab Diablo pizza. All of that’s not their only option. They have amazing Stromboli, and all sorts of other delightful specials. I would highly recommend checking out Rocco’s whenever you get a chance. Parking: It’s typically gonna be easier to find parking on Bancroft than Union Street most of the time.
