Ristorante dei Rossi

We had reservations and based on the website pics, expected to sit in a room with beautiful paintings on the ceiling, but we were seated next to the wine cooler in a crowded little area. A bit disappointing, especially after seeing another couple taken into what I assume was the main dining room apparently because they knew someone, so the atmosphere was just so-so. Now the pasta was delicious and even better was the cheesecake for dessert, in fact it was so good we ordered another piece to go for later. Recommended for the food but we had to ask for things several times from our server(s) as they were a little less attentive versus other restaurants we ate at. Still would recommend for the food.

First dinner in Florence and it did not disappoint! Service, Food, Ambience were outstanding. Servings for starters are fairly large - definitely sharable and well worth sampling as many as you can! Steak Tartare was amazing as were the pappardelle and porcini mushroom dishes. Highly recommend!

What a great experience! Licien who owns the restaurant was so accommodating, he managed to get us an outdoor table and that was just the start. His wine knowledge and recommendations were perfect. We had two vegetarians in our party and he made them dishes that blew them away and then we of course had the Florentine steak which was perfect! You will not be disappointed!

Food was very good, but it’s expensive and the service was average - our waiter was not very knowledgable and didn’t have much advice on wine, despite the wine list being extensive

My travelling companion and I had a fantastic experience for lunch at Ristorante dei Rossi. Easily the best bistecca I’ve had in Italy and a quality wine list by the bottle, half bottle or glass. Staff were very friendly and engaging. Too bad we were only in Florence for the day or we would have eaten there again. Highly recommended.

We had the Grilled sirloin and Carbonara and they were perfectly cooked and delicious!

Comida riquísima y el vino también. Calidad precio buenísimo. Atención súper. 100% recomendable

On our first night in Italy and of course in Florence we eat here. The servers are amazing, we had Bruan serving us. The food was excellent too.
