The food was fantastic. It reminded me of my mom's Sunday dinner. I love how the young people are fully involved in the running of this business.

Will definitely go back during my next Milwaukee visit.

In the heart of a historical neighborhood, you'll find this cafe', where old Milwaukee meets new Milwaukee. Here, the staff is friendly and the chef's take time to craft delectable food and baristas serve tasty coffee and smoothies. I must add that Rise and Grind Cafe' is the only establishment that I found that offers vegan soul food options regularly, in addition to made-to-order vegan breakfast items such as french toast, eggs, sausage, grits. But wait, plant based hot dogs, burgers, and deli sandwiches are on the menu also! I would definitely recommend.

Food is horrible! Chef is horrible. Never go there again.

Stopped in with friends and had a great experience. I wasn't that hungry so I asked for a salad. They allowed me to build my own/custom salad with a tasty house dressing. Very accommodating staff, great food and atmosphere. My friends raved over the salmon croquettes.
