Rick Dubro purchased his first Pizzeria in 1978 in Roseville Mi. with his high school friend Tom Griffin. Together over the next few years Tom and Rick opened 6 locations under the name of Kings Pizzeria in Detroit, St. Clair Shores, Roseville, East Detroit and Warren. Upon moving north to Traverse City in 1990, Rick worked managing a sports restaurant in Traverse City. At the same time running one of his restaurants downstate.
