Restaurant Fonoll Marí

Das Restaurant besticht vor allem durch die Lage. Wir hatten eine schönen Tisch am Meer und dadurch, dass leider nur wenig los war, waren die Bedienung stets bereit und schnell am Tisch. Die Vorspeisencombo war für 6€ vollkommen in Ordnung. Auf den Hauptgang (Thunfisch vom Grill) mussten wir wegen eines Systemfehlers relativ lange warten. Aber die Bedienungen haben sich alle mehrmals entschuldigt und wir haben Getränke aufs Haus bekommen. Die Atmosphäre war gut und das Essen durchaus schmackhaft.

Great food and service. A choice of places to sit too, which is great if the evening is cool.

I must begin by saying the hospitality was five stars, the staff were polite and kind just as expected when going for a meal out. However the restaurant was quite pricy especially to say the food was a three star “Average”, which I would be very disappointed with if I chose some of the most pricy dishes coming in at around 25 euros. We were particularly disappointed with the 3 euros we paid for bread, just to receive three slices when we were next to a shop that sold the same bread for less than a euro for a whole stick. Despite my complaints I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and due to the well mannered nature of the staff would return if other restaurants were full.

Zum Abendessen Lasagne gehabt, war super!

Excellent service of exquisitely prepared dinners. Pricing is adequate for the quality of food. Come, relax, have a delightful dinner and wine. Visit was three weeks before season, early May.
