Renaissance Market, Fine Antiques & Brasserie, is located in Lafayette, Louisiana’s Oil Center. The Oil Center is a most unique area of Lafayette and is still the heartbeat of the city, even though the oil industry was practically decimated during the oil bust of the 1980’s. Renaissance Market opened its doors in May of 1992, and is owned by husband and wife team, Mary Landry Hopkins and Jim Hopkins. Known throughout South Louisiana and beyond for their fine French antiques, the owners travel to France to personally purchase each year.
