Man oh man, a 5 star rating doesn’t even do it for me. Hands down one of the best pretzels I’ve had. Also, the gentleman who assisted me was nothing shy of amazing. I was there yesterday 12/15 around 2pm and got the goat guru stuffed pretzel. I love what you guys are doing, keep up the amazing work.
This gem of a cafe has delicious food at reasonable prices, and makes a difference in the community. Signs at the door explain that customers may walk around to the side of the building to place their orders — a menu board shows breakfast and lunch offerings, with pies of the day and other specials posted on separate sheets, plus a full section listing all the flavors of giant cookies! More menus on the window list beverages. inside the window, small signs describe the pastries, cakes and breads available; if a sign is too small for you to read, the staff are happy to describe the offerings. We placed our lunch order — a Goat Guru sandwich, a slice of hearty Spinach Pie, and another slice of Blueberry Ginger Lemon Pie for dessert, paid, then walked to the shaded outdoor seating area by the front entrance. When our orders were ready, a server delivered the plats to our table, trailed by a helper in case assistance was needed. Although my food was wonderful, it was a treat to see the orders for another table parade past to reach the patrons there, as it gives me ideas of what to order next time! Inside the shop, there are a few more tables available for dining, a unisex restroom, and a rack of discount breads. Do take to time to sign up with Reality Kitchen and see what you may order for pickup — the breads, pies and cakes are popular and look delicious, and you’re supporting a great nonprofit.
